These courses are available on the following dates:

-Week One: August 16th (Wednesday) to August 21st (Monday) 2000
-Week Two: August 24th (Thursday) to August 29th (Tuesday) 2000

The first session begins at 5.30pm on the first dayand the course ends at lunchtime on the last day

Course Description
The course provides an opportunity to explore how the Alexander Technique can help us find an easier, more free and effective way of going about our lives.

The course works well as an introduction to theTechnique and a good refresher for those already involved in this approach to life.

There will be group work each morning for three hours and each participant has two individual sessions. Optional sessions, such as learning to juggle, autobiographical writing, foot massage, creativity etc.will happen and there is time for enjoying the richness of the countryside around Kendal.

The approach is practical, experiential and related to everyday life.

Leading Teacher
Michael Hardwicke has been running courses at Fellside Alexander School for the public for over twelve years and is the Co-Director of the Alexander Training Programme. He continues to be excited and rewarded by the discoveries of F.M. Alexander and how they can be made accessible for people.

Location
Fellside Alexander School is situated in a 19th Century building with panoramic views over the medieval market town of Kendal,surrounded by the hills of the English Lake District.

Accomodation
There is a good range of accommodation available including B&B, guest houses, hotels, farmhouses and in the school itself. Other alternatives and lists can be provided and help given to find something suitable. The school has a good kitchen/cafe area where some meals can be taken together.
